As echoed in other reviews the manager Carol has zero customer service skills, is very abrupt to the point of being rude. I had one syllable answers where as another customer just got barked at. No smile, manners, just rude.
T&T clipboard is also in full view for anyone to read your name and number. Should be a slip placed in a locked box, don't hold your details privately which is appalling
One star for the tea and cake as they were lovely but the service far overshadows anything positive

We decided to try this place for a light lunch on our visit to Louth. I opted for the stilton and celery soup and my husband chose a sausage and onion relish panini. We were advised that there would be a 15-20 minute wait; there was but it was worth it. So often soups described as 'stilton' lack any real flavour of said cheese. This was the exception: delicious and the bread that came with it was soft and light. My husband's panini was good too. Add in a generous pot of tea and a large coffee for a total bill of less than £12 and we really couldn't complain. And the staff were really nice too.

Didn't impress me. In addition, they give discounts to highly paid workers using the "blue light card", but not to people on ordinary or low incomes. That is an absolute no-no to me, regardless of anything else.

We went here today. The first time we had been so not familiar with it. My wife asked if there was a weekend cake and coffee deal to which the woman snapped ‘NO’ and walked off as if my wife was a piece of dirt on her shoe. Honestly, my wife was so upset by this rudeness that we went home. You know when you think you must have upset someone but don’t know how? Anyway, bad reviews encourage better service so I thought I’d add this. We of course shan’t be going back.
